Magdalena (spanish tea cake) Recipe

  Spanish Cakes

Ingredients:
This is the most yummy Magdalena!!!
i'm not kidding...hahahaha
i live in Spain and i have try many recipe of magdalena.
and this one is the most yummy for me.

The original of this recipe is from PaĆ­s Vasco and use extra virgin olive oil.
For me...i don't like smell of virgin olive oil in dessert.
that's why i add margarine instead.

Ingredients :
- 1 egg
- 1 + 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup margarine
- 3 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tbsp. grated lemon peel
- 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F
- Beat egg, margarine and sugar until very creamy and light.
- Add lemon peel
- combien salt, baking powder and flour and stir into batter.
- Add milk and beat well again
- spoon into the paper cup
- Sprinkle granulated sugar over each
- Bake 15-20 minutes
