Ingredients:
1 lb. dried navy beans1/2 c. chopped salt pork, bacon or ham 1 clove garlic, minced dash of Chili pepper 1 lb. pasta, cooked & drained Romano or Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions:
Soak beans overnight in 2 quarts water. Cook in same water Prepare sauce by browning the meat with garic and chili pepper. Add to the beans and cook about 2 hours, or till tender. Just before serving, add 1 lb. cooked and drained macaroni (or desired pasta) and let simmer 5 minutes. Stir well and serve topped with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.8 to 10 servings
