Onion-Cheese Pie Recipe | |

Ingredients:
Pie Filling2 1/2 c. chopped Vidalia onion 1 tbsp butter or margarine, melted 3/4 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. milk 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Cheesy Crumb Crust 1 3/4 c. cheese-flavored cracker crumbs 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. melted butter
Directions:
Pie FillingSaute chopped onion in 1 tbsp. butter till tender; remove from heat. Stir in cheese; spoon into prepared Cheesy Crumb Crust. Combine eggs, milk and seasonings; stir well. Pour over onion mixture; bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until let. Let stand 10 min. before serving. Cheesy Crumb Crust Combine crumbs and butter; mix well. Press into bottom and up sides of a 9" quiche dish or pieplate. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes before pouring in pie mixture. |
