Easter Meat Pie Recipe

  Italian Pies

Ingredients:
One pound Genoa or Hard Salami
One pound Ham
One package of fresh basket cheese
10 eggs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Pepper
Store bought pie crusts

Directions:
Cube the salami, ham and basket cheese
Slightly beat the eggs
Add beaten eggs to ham, salami and basket cheese
Add parmesan and pepper
Mix well

Double up store bought pie crusts in a deep dish pie pan

Pour in the egg, meat and cheese mixture

Bake at 350 for about an hour. Turn off oven and let the pie continue to cook while the oven cools. If a toothpick or fork comes out clean, the pie is done.

Serve cold
This is the Easter Meat Pie recipe I have which sounds similar except for the black pepper crust. My family is originally from the Naples area.
