Golden Calendula or Marigold Glaze Recipe

Ingredients:
1 t dry mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1 cup marigold or calendula petals
4 T milk
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup whole marigold or calendula flowers

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together except whole flowers and stir until blended. Brush on meat or poultry during the last 20 minutes of cooking. Garnish with whole flowers.
Brush this cheerful glaze on ham, roast pork, duck, game hens, or quail. The orange petals will retain their vibrant color on the browned meat.
