CHOCOLATE CUT-OUT COOKIES Recipe

  Cookie

Ingredients:
2 sticks (1 cup) margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
10 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Combine flour, cocoa powder and baking powder; add and mix well. Wrap dough in waxed paper and chill for 2 hours. Divide dough in half. Roll out each half 1/2-inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters; place on lightly greased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.

Yield: varies with size of cutter
