Ingredients:
1-1/2 Lb Ground beef1/2 Lb Ground Pork 2 T olive oil 1/2 C. minced onion 1/2 C. shredded carrots 4 bay leaves 4 twists of pepper 3 T. tomato paste 1 C. red wine 1- 28oz whole tomato hot water 1/2 C. celery salt
Directions:
Saute onions and a pinch of salt in the heated oil, add carrots and a pinch of salt. Cook until dry and begins to caramelize. Add 1/2 t. salt to abet this. Add bay leaves and a pinch of salt. Add peppr,tomato paste and stir, add wine and cook until almost dry. Crush 3 ladles of tomatoes and add 3 ladles of boiling water. Simmer 2-3 hours or longer if you prefer, adding more boiling water as needed. Cook to your desired consistency. |
