Scallop potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:
6-8 potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
sliced onions to taste
shredded cheese
salt & pepper
flour and butter of your choice
skim milk

Directions:
peel and slice potatoes and just cover with lightly salted cold water. Spray casserole dish with Pam or cooking spray of choice. Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Prepare cheese, onions.
Drain potatoes and then layer ingredients in casserole dish-potatoes, onions, cheese, then sprinkle flour in thin layer,salt and pepper, then dot with butter. Repeat layers til casserole is almost full, End top layer with
cheese. Add milk to just edge of 2nd layer. Bake for 1 hour and then test for doneness. My mother latter changed the milk to diluted mushroom soup which made it even better,
