Ingredients:
2 c. sugar2 c. plain flour 2 sticks margarine 1/2 c. cocoa 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Miniature marshmallows 2 eggs, beaten
Directions:
Mix sugar and flour in mixing bowl. Boil water, margarine and cocoa. Add liquid to sugar and flour. Add eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, and vanilla. Beat about 1 minute. Bake in greased 9x13 pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. While hot, cover with a layer of miniature marshmallows.Icing: 1 stick margarine 4 tbsp. cocoa 6 tbsp. milk 1 box powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped pecans Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to boil. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Pour over marshmallows while cake is still warm. |
