Spinach Salad and California Dressing Recipe

  Salad

Ingredients:
1 to 2 pounds fresh spinach, torn
1 medium red onion, chopped
1/2 head lettuce, torn
Two 11-ounce cans mandarin oranges, drained

Dressing Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten frothy

Directions:
Combine the dressing ingredients, bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Prepare and chill. Toss with salad right before serving.

Serves: 10
