Kentucky Pecan Pie Recipe | |

Ingredients:
Pastry for 9 inch one-crust pie2/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup butter, melted 1 cup corn syrup 2 tblsp. bourbon 1/2 tsp. salt 3 eggs 1 cup pecan halves or broken pecans 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare pastry. Beat sugar, butter, corn syrup, bourbon, salt, and eggs with hand beater. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Bake until set, 40 to 50 minutes. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours. Immediately refrigerate any remaining pie.Brandy Pecan Pie: Decrease corn syrup to 3/4 cup. Substitute 1/4 cup brandy for the bourbon and omit chocolate chips. Chocolate Pecan Pie: Melt 2 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate with the butter. Omit bourbon and chocolate chips. Pecan Pie: Omit bourbon and chocolate chips. |
