FRESH FIG CAKE Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1 = c. sugar= shortening 2 eggs < honey 1 c. peeled fresh figs 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs, honeyand figs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to the fig mixture. Add vanilla and beat well. Pour into greased and floured cake pan and bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
