Chicken and Shrimp Fettucine Recipe | |

Ingredients:
2 lbs. chicken breast1 lb. large/jumbo shrimp 16 oz. pkg. fresh cooked fettucine (follow pkg directions) 1/2 c. flour 4 cloves chopped garlic 2/3 c. chopped green onions 1 stick of butter 1/8 c. olive oil 2-3 c. half and half salt and pepper to taste shredded parmesean cheese
Directions:
Cut chicken breast into cubes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add garlic. Marinate for at least 1 hour. Dust chicken with flour. Melt butter in large skillet. Add olive oil. Lightly brown dusted chicken in oil/butter. Do not fry, but lightly brown. Do not burn butter mixture. Add green onions and sautee for 3 minutes. Add half and half. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until sauce slightly thickens. Add cleaned and deveined shrimp. Toss with fettucine. Top with parmesean cheese. I serve with a nice salad fresh French garlic bread, and iced tea.Happy Mother's Day!! |
