Bananas and Cream Bundt Cake Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1/3 cup shortening1-1/4 cups sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1-1/4 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3) 2 cups flour 1-1/4 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream 1 cup chopped walnuts Confectioner's sugar
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and bananas. Mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream; stirring until just combined. Stir in walnuts. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan to wire rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioner's sugar.Yield: 12 to 16 servings |
