Grace Hays' Special Beer Batter Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1 cup flour (Wondra Gold Medal is recommended)1 tsp. baking powder 1 egg salt and pepper to taste 1/2 cup beer (or more for proper consistency)
Directions:
Mix flour and baking powderBeat egg until light and add to the flour mixture along with the beer. The batter should be like pancake batter, not too thick. Add more beer if necessary. The batter should not be lumpy. Great with fish or shrimp. |
