New Orleans Pecan Pralines Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1/2 c. sugar1 c. milk 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. pecans 1 tblsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Brown and caramelize 1/2 cup sugar. Add 1 cup warm sweet milk. Let this mixture boil 3 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups suar and 2 cups pecans. Cool 12 minutes or more. Remove from stove. Add 1 tblsp. butter and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat well and drop by large tablespoon onto waxed paper. Let set. |
