Wine Broth Recipe

  American Soup

Ingredients:
1 qt. water
4 beef flavored bouillon cubes
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lime juice
1/2 c. Burgundy or other dry red wine
Lime slices

Directions:
Combine water, bouillon cubes, Worcestershire sauce, and lime juice in medium saucepan. Add wine, stirring well. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Ladle into 4 individual serving bowls. Garnish each serving with a lime slice. Yield: 4 cups.
