Grilled Portabella Mushrooms Recipe

  Vegetable

Ingredients:
olive oil
vinegar
crushed garlic or garlic powder
chopped onion or onion powder
basil
salt
pepper
small amount of sugar
dash crushed red pepper

Directions:
Sorry...I don't measure when I cook. Just throw it all together in amounts that suit your taste. Or use bottled Italian salad dressing. Marinate whole portabellas (minus the stems) for a few hours (I use a ziplock bag). Be sure to turn them every 30-45 minutes. Then grill until tender (10 minutes?). They make a delicious main dish. Can sprinkle with grated parmesan or romano cheese before serving. Serve with your favorite bread.
