Glazed Bacon Recipe

  American Pork

Ingredients:
1/2 lb. bacon, slices cut in half
1/2 c. lightly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. red wine or grape juice

Directions:
Place bacon on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until crisp. Drain off fat. Mix sugar, mustard and wine together. Pour over bacon. Bake at 350 degrees until it bubbles, making sure glaze is covering both sides, approximately 10 minutes. Remove bacon and place on wax paper or foil. Do not refrigerate. If limp or sticky, return to oven for a few minutes. Makes 6 servings.
