Sweet potato casserole Recipe

Ingredients:
3 lb. canned sweet potatoes, drained and mashed; 2/3 cup sugar; 1/3 cup softened margarine or butter; 1 beaten egg; 1 tsp. vanilla; 8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained; 1/2 grated apple or pear;
Topping: 2 Tablespoons butter; 2 Tablespoons flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar; 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Mix above ingredients (except for topping ingredient) and place in greased casserole dish.
Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of sweet potatoes. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes
