Directions:
This is just a basic recipe for cube steak, nothing fancy.Add butter or oil to skillet. Heat. When hot add cube steak. Season with desired spices. I use Worcestershire sauce, pepper,salt,garlic and onion powder. Brown to cook. When appears brown on both sides add water or beef stock to add moisture and cover. Cook until done. At this point you can serve as is or with beef gravy. Another option is to sautee onion slices first, remove from pan and add meat, proceed with recipe. Add onions at end to heat through. The addition of the onions adds a nice flavor. | |
