Ingredients:
2 pints fresh strawberries1/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur Zest or grated rind of 1 orange Sweetened whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
Wash and hull strawberries, and pat dry. Combine sugar, Grand Marnier and orange zest in a large bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Add strawberries, stir gently to coat.Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Spoon into individual dishes; top with whipped cream, if desired. 4 to 6 servings. | |
