Ingredients:
Cake: 1 box Duncan Hines Swiss Chocolate cake mix, prepared in a 9 x 13 pan. Filling: 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 1/4 cup evaporated milk 1 cup white sugar (granulated) 1/2 cup margarine 1 cup shortening Icing: Duncan Hines Milk Chocolate canned icing
Directions:
1. Prepare and bake cake as directed on the package for a 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool completely. 2. Combine flour and milk in saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Cool completely. Cream 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup margarine and shortening. Add cooled milk mixture, and BEAT BEAT BEAT until sugar has dissolved. Spread over cooled cake. 3. Heat canned icing in microwave for 15-20 mintutes (just enough to make pouring consistency), pour over filling and spread carefully over entire cake. Follow-Up Postings: |
