Creamy Tomato Vodka Sauce Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1/2 pkg. penne noodles1 slice bacon, finely chopped 1 small onion, finely chopped 3 cloves garlic, crushed 2 1/2 cups whipping cream 5 1/2 oz. can tomato paste 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 cup vodka 1 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
Directions:
Cook penne according to package directions. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in bacon, onion and garlic; cook until lightly browned. Stir in cream, tomato paste, salt, pepper and vodka; simmer 10 minutes. Stir 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese into tomato mixture. Stir in penne noodles; mix well. Top with remaining cheese. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings
This sauce can be 'kicked up' by adding a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce.
