Baked Potato Soup Recipe

  Soup

Ingredients:
4 Lg. Baked potatoes, diced
1 Qt. whole milk
1 Pt. Half and Half
2 Tsp. Spice Island's chicken stock base
1 Cup sour cream
1 Stick of butter
4 Dashes Tabasco (will not be hot)
1/2 Cup chopped green onions (white part)
1 Dash dry basil
1 dash celery salt
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1/4 Tsp. Black pepper
1/4 Tsp. White Pepper
1 Cup crumbled, cooked bacon
1 TB. Bacon Drippings
3 Dashes red wine vinegar
1/2 Cup grated, sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Bring to simmer, don't boil. Simmer about 20 mins, partially covered with a lid. You may cook longer. Mash potatoes in soup to achieve thickness. Serve with shredded cheese, green onion tops, and bacon.
