Ingredients:
3 1/2c fruit1T lemon juice 1 1/4c sugar 5T butter 1c milk 1 3/4c flour 1t baking powder 1/2t salt 1c sugar 1T cornstarch 1c boiling water
Directions:
Place fruit in 13x9" pan and sprinkle with lemon juice. Cream sugar and butter together. Add sifted dry ingredients and milk alternately and beat smooth with mixer. Spread over fruit. Combine sugar and cornstarch together. Sprinkle over contents of pan. Pour boiling water over everything and bake @ 350F for 1 hour.n/a
Delicious with any fruit, but the best with a rhubarb/strawberry combo!
