Meringues with nuts Recipe

  Cookie

Ingredients:
4 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tarter
1/4 tsp salt
1 Cup granulated sugar
1/4 to 1/2 Cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Combine egg whites,cream of tarter and salt. Beat until soft peaks form. Add sugar, 1 tbsp at a time and continue beating until mixture becomes very stiff and glossy. Drop by tbsp full onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 275 degrees l hour. Turn off oven and let oven and meringues cool together.
