Sauteed Apples Recipe

Ingredients:
4 medium apples, peeled, cored
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup raisins
Pecans (optional)

Directions:
Cut apples in half, cut into thin slices. Heat butter and sugar in pan, stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar is dissolved; add apples and raisins. Stir gently over heat until the apples are tender. Serve over waffles or pancakes.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.
