Ingredients:
1/2 C butter or butter-flavored crisco1-1/2 C granulated sugar 1-1/2 C brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 4 eggs 19 oz jar peanut butter 6 C uncooked oats 2-1/2 tsp baking soda 6 oz chocolate chips
Directions:
In large mixer bowl, mix together butter and sugars; blend in eggs and vanilla. Add peanut butter; blend. Combine oats and baking soda; add to mixture and blend well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by ice cream scoop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees: cookies should be very lightly browned and just barely "set". Do not overbake. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet before removing. Store tightly covered. For smaller cookies, bake 8-10 minutes. Cookies freeze well. |
