Chicken Parmigiana Recipe

  Italian Chicken

Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 ounces dried bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
3/4 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2 Pour egg beat into a small shallow bowl and place bread crumbs in a separate shallow dish or bowl. Dip chicken cutlets into egg beat, then bread crumbs. Place coated chicken on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
3 Pour 1/2 of the spaghetti sauce into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add chicken and pour on remaining sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top and bake in oven (at same temperature) for 20 minutes.
Makes 2 servings
