Shish Kebabs Recipe

  Beef

Ingredients:
2 pounds cubed, boneless, top sirloin steak
3/4 cup coarsely chopped onion
1 4-ounce can green chili salsa
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
1/2 green bell pepper
1 onion
4 ounces whole fresh onions
Half a pint box cherry tomatoes
1/2 of 1 8-ounce can pineapple chunks
1 cup regular, uncooked rice

Directions:
Combine cubed beef with chopped onions, salsa, chili powder, oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper; put in a 6-cup container and freeze.
To prepare for serving, thaw meat mixture. Remove meat from marinade. Cut bell pepper and onion into thick pieces to put on a skewer. Alternate meat, vegetables and pineapple on a skewer, and barbecue or broil. Baste with marinade while cooking. At the same time, prepare rice according to package directions. Serve Kebabs with rice.
