Fried Fish Nuggets (Fishballs) Recipe | |

Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1-1/2 tsp. minced fresh parsley 1/4 tsp dill weed 1/4 tsp pepper 1-1/2 cups flaked cooked fish Oil for deep-fat frying Tartar sauce, optional
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the first eight ingredients: mix well. Stir in the fish. Roll into one inch balls. Heat oil in a deep-fat fryer to 375 degrees. Fry the fish balls for two minutes or until golden brown; drain on paper towels. Serve with tartar sauce, if desired.Makes about 2-1/2 dozen
Comment: These are cheesy, and you can use most any leftover fish with tasty results.
