RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES Recipe

  Cookie

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
NOTE: can replace vanilla with almond extract and nuts with almonds)

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, then add vanilla, flour, salt, and nuts. Mix well. Form into balls, and/or funny shapes. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar when still warm.
