Red Pepper Soup Recipe

  American Soup

Ingredients:
1 Large Red Bell Pepper (cut into 1" squares)
1/2 Medium Onion (diced)
1tbl Butter or Margarine
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Curry Powder

Directions:
Saute onion and pepper in margarine over medium heat
When peppers are soft, add the turmeric, curry powder, and water and cover Once the peppers are very soft, add sour cream, and puree. Return to low heat and simmer uncovered until a rich soupy consistancy is attained. Add black pepper to taste and serve hot!
