Sophia's Angel Hair Pasta Recipe

  Italian Pasta

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 pound prosciutto, finely diced
1 large clove garlic, peeled and minced
1/4 pound fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/4 cup dry white wine
12 ounces angel hair pasta(capellini)
1/3 cup light cream
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Finely chopped parsley
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan. Add prosciutto, garlic, and mushrooms; saute for 1 minute. Add wine and simmer for 10 minutes.

2. Cook pasta in boiling, salted water until just tender, following package directions; drain and toss with cream and 1 tablespoon butter.

3. Gently toss ham mixture with pasta. Add cheese; toss lightly. Sprinkle with parsley and freshly ground pepper. Serve at once
