Ingredients:
1 can (15-16 oz) chick peas, drained1 tbsp olive oil Juice of 2 lemons 4 cloves garlic, peeled Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste with oil) 1 tsp strong paprika = t cumin Dash of cayenne Cilantro to taste
Directions:
Place chick peas, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic in processor and puree. Add remaining ingredients. Blend until creamy. If mixture is too thick, add a little more lemon juice. Garnish with Kalmata or regular black olives and serve with pita, lavosh or thin crackers.Makes 2 cups.
