Peanut Brittle Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
1/2 cup water
Cook uhtil it spins a thread (abut 25-30 mintues)

Add:

1# raw spanish peanuts (2 cups)
Stir constantly until light tan in color, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add remainder ingredients

1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp sal
1 T butter
2 tsp baking soda.

Pour immediately on greased cookie sheet. Let cook, then crack into bite size pieces.

It is very important to constantly stir the mixture after peanuts are added. It will start turning color very fast, so watch closely.
