Ingredients:
OkraTomatoes Salt
Directions:
Clean and cut okra into 1" inch pieces discarding stems. Blanch in boiling water 2-3 minutes & drain. Prepare Tomatoes for canning and add desired amout of okra to tomatoes with 1 tsp. salt in each jar. Process according to mfg. instructions for pressure canner or use cold water bath process.Quanitiy is entirely up to you, I've bought "couple pounds of tomatoes & a handful of okra" to can together because hubby doesn't care for the store bought kind.
