french silk chocolate pie Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1/2 C. butter3/4 C. sugar 1 square (1 oz) unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled 1 teaspoon vanilla (pure, not imitation) 2 eggs whipped cream for garnish Crust: 1/2 C. less 1 Tbls. shortening (Crisco) 1 tsp. instant coffee dissolved in 3 Tbls. boiling water 1 tsp. milk 1 1/4 C. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 4 Tbls. chopped pecans
Directions:
Filling:Cream: butter; add graually the sugar...creaming well; Blend in unsw. choc. & vanilla Add: eggs--one at a time; beating 5 min. after ea. addition (med. speed on mixer) Turn into cooled, baked pie shell; CHILL several hours or overnight.. Top with whipped cream before serving ENJOY!!:):) i have NO idea!! But it certainly is not for the serious weight watcher!!
Absolutely delicious...best I've ever tried. When entertaining friends who are serious chocolate lovers...I have doubled the filling...but boy oh boy is it RICH!
