English Plum Puddiing Recipe

  Dessert

Ingredients:
8 oz. flour
8 oz. bread crumbs(sifted)
1 lb. brown sugar
1 lb. beef suet, chopped fine
1 lb currants
1 lb. raisins
1/2 lb. citron
6 eggs, beaten very light
1 nutmeg, grated
a little salt
1 small carrot, grated

Directions:
Wet the bag or mould with boiling water. Sprinkle well with flour.Put in the pudding and tie up securely. Boil or steam gently for six hours.
