Potato Soup Recipe

  American Soup

Ingredients:
l celery rib, thinly sliced
l small onion, chopped
l green onion, thinly sliced
2 tbls butter or margarine
2 envelopes chicken gravy mix
l/4 teasp celery salt
l/4 teasp ground cumin
l/4 teasp cajun seasoning
l/4 teasp pepper
4 cups milk
5 medium potatoes, peeled, cubed and cooked
l cup cubed process american cheese

Directions:
In a large saucepan, saute celery and onions in butter till tender. Stir in gravy mix and seasonings, gradually add milk. Bring to boil, cook and stir for 2 mins. Reduce heat, stir in potatoes and cheese. Cook and stir till the potatoes are heated through and the cheese is melted.
