Swedish Meat Balls Recipe | |
Swedish Beef | |
Ingredients:
3 lb Ground Beef1 can Evaporated Milk 1 cup Oatmeal 1 cup Cracker crums 2 eggs 1/2 cup Chopped Onions 1/2 t. spoon Garlic Powder 1/2 t. Salt 1/2 t. Ground Pepper 2 t. Chili Powder SAUCE 2 Cups Ketchup 1 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 t. Liquid Smoke 1/2 t. Garlic Powder 1/4 cup Chopped Onions t=Tea Spoon
Directions:
Mix the first list of ingredients. Place on a sheet of wax paper and freeze. Bring the second list of ingredients to a boil. Place the frozen meat balls in a 9 by 13 inch pan after you have dipped them in the liquid sauce. Pour any remaining sauce over them. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.I believe that ginger snap cookies could be substituted for the cracker crums.
