Carrots & Kumquats Recipe

Ingredients:
2/3 lb. carrots
12-15 kumquats
1/2 stick butter
3 tbsp brown sugar
2-3 oz. orange juice

Directions:
Peel carrots & cut into long, thin pieces. Cut kumquats into quarters, remove seeds. Steam carrots until crisp-tender. Set aside. Mlt butter in large skillet; add carrots & kumuats. Cover & cook until kumquats are almost tender. Add orange juice & brown sugar & stir until kumquats are tender. Add more sugar & orange juice if needed, sauce should be fairly thick.
