Janice's Meatballs Recipe

  American Appetizer

Ingredients:
2 pounds chopped meat
2 medium-sized raw potatoes, peeled and grated
1 large onion, grated
2 eggs
1/4 to 1/2 cup corn flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
For the sauce:
12 oz. bottle chili sauce
1 1/2 cups water3 to 4 oz. grape jelly

Directions:
Combine ground meat, grated potatoes (avoid long slivers of potato), onions, eggs, corn flakes and seasonings. Form into small meatballs. Mix chili sauce, water and grape jelly and bring to a boil. Add meatballs. Reduce to simmer and cook 20 minutes.
