SHRIMP ETOUFEE Recipe

Ingredients:
SHRIMP ETOUFEE

2 lb. shrimp
1 stick oleo
1 chopped onion
1/4 bell pepper, chopped
4 Tbsp. catsup or 1/2 can
tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 limbs celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. water
salt, pepper and cayenne
pepper
Tabasco sauce (if desired)

Directions:
Peel and devein shrimp. Season generously with salt,
black pepper and cayenne pepper; set aside. Melt oleo and add
bell pepper, garlic and celery. Cook until onions are tender
but not brown. Stir constantly. Add flour. (Just to smooth
but not brown.) Add water and catsup or tomato sauce. Cook for
30 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for 10 minutes more. Let set
a few minutes. Serve over fluffy rice.
