Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. salad oil 1 chopped onion 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 2 (14 oz.) cans chicken broth 4 oz. can tomato paste 1/4 c. flour 2 bay leaves 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. ground thyme 1 c. heavy cream 1 lb. seafood (may be shrimp, crab, sea legs, etc.)
Directions:
In a large pot, heat oil and take off heat. Add flour and it will turn into a light brown paste. Put back on stove and add onion, bay leaves and Worcestershire sauce. Lower heat and add pepper, garlic, thyme and broth. Stir and bring to a boil. Simmer 30 minutes. Then add cream, tomato paste and seafood. Cook 10 minutes. Simmer 2 hours longer and chill for 24 hours. Reheat and eat. |
