CREAMED CARROTS Recipe

Ingredients:
2 pounds carrots

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup milk

Directions:
1. Peel and slice the carrots. Boil the carrots until desired doneness and drain well. Meanwhile, make medium white sauce.
2. In heavy 1 quart saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
Add flour,salt and pepper . Stir until smooth. Gradually stir in milk, stirring constantly , until thickened and smooth, being careful not to burn or brown. Pour desired amount over the well drained carrots and serve.
