Variation on Smoked Gouda Quesadillas Recipe

  Armenian Appetizer

Ingredients:
Flour or corn tortillas
Smoked Gouda Cheese
Black Beans ( your own or Goya)
Salsa (your own or commercial, mild to hot).

Directions:
On one tortilla place thinly sliced gouda cheese until it almost reaches the edge, Use about 2 t. of black beans and place them on top of cheese. Finally spread on salsa. Cover with another tortilla and place it in a hot, dry frying pan. Using a spatula press it down and allow it to brown, When it is the desired color for you, turn it over and repeat process. Remove from pan and allow to cool. Take a pair of sissors and cut in half, then quarters, then eights. These may be frozen or stored for later use. Simply place in a pre heated oven on a cookie sheet and re-heat until hot. They may be servrd with a dipping sauce or on their own. Experiment! It is very easy an adaptable for your onion, etc. request
