Chocolate frosting Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1/4 c. Crisco melted1/2 c. cocoa 1/4 t. salt 1/3 c. milk 1-1/2 t. vanilla 3-1/2 c. confectioners sugar (sift if lumpy)
Directions:
In a saucepan, melt Crisco. Remove from heat after melting and add cocoa and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla. Put all the sugar in the bowl of a mixer. Add chocolate mixture to sugar. Mix at medium speed until smooth and creamy. Add 1 more T. milk, if needed for good spreading consistency.Frosts two 8-or 9- inch cakes
