Tangy Baked Chicken Recipe

  Chicken

Ingredients:
Chicken parts to equal 2 1/2 - 3 pounds
1 envelope Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
Freshly ground black pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with non-stick spray. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle dressing mix and pepper over chicken pieces. Brown chicken pieces lightly on all sides. Transfer to prepared pan. Combine sour cream and soup until smooth; spoon over chicken. Bake, uncovered, 35 - 45 minutes or until chicken is well done.
Serves 4 - 6.
I like to use boneless, skinless breast and thigh portions so you don't have to deal with skin and bones when you're eating.
